Pearls benefit from contact with human skin although sunscreens, hairsprays, perfumes and other substances can be harmful to them. That’s why the geeral rule to keep your pearls glistening is to leave them for the last thing you put on in the beginning of the day, and the first think you take off at the end of the day. Careful cleaning with a soft, damp cloth is essential to prevent build-up that may damage the luster; please let us know if your pearls are in need of checking or restringing.
